Four things go wrong more than anything else.
Verification did not give you a role#
A gecko bought into an already-linked wallet needs no command and no button. Almost always it is the wallet: the one you linked is not the one holding the gecko. Press Check Status on the Matrica Verification message in #🔳 | matrica-verification. Walk the verification steps again.
A transaction failed or is stuck#
A Solana transaction can expire without landing, and a failed one usually costs only the network fee. Check the wallet's activity and the signature on a block explorer before you retry: a transaction can land and still report an error. Look it up on Solscan.
A gecko will not list or will not transfer#
A gecko on a journey is locked by the staking program until that journey ends and you unstake it. A gecko on the Immortal Journey is soul-bound and permanently not transferrable. What each journey locks, and for how long.
You think your wallet is drained#
Order matters more than speed.
- Move what is left to a fresh wallet on a new seed phrase.
- Then revoke approvals on the drained wallet, though no revoke undoes a leaked seed phrase or private key.
- Then open a ticket.
Never fund that wallet again: approvals, and the rest of the first five minutes.
